I was so excited when Madeline reached out to me and wanted to do things a little differently for her baby’s newborn photo session. As a Peachtree City newborn photographer, I usually come to a client’s home to take photos, but this time we met at her husband’s auto-repair shop (Allied AutoWorks in PTC). This couple wanted something unique and different and to include husband Kris’s love of cars, but it ended up being so much more than that.

We got to include some really sentimental items that previously belonged to baby Leo’s late grandfather who is also his namesake, such as his well-loved tool box and the sign displaying his name. I love taking opportunities like this to help make sessions special for families.

We also had a special coincidence take place when the beautiful car that these two used in their wedding ended up being at the shop for repairs. It also showed up on their one year wedding anniversary and now as they welcomed their son. I’m sure baby Leo will enjoy hearing all about this awesome car years from now!

It was such a pleasure meeting this sweet, new baby boy and helping his family document these first days. Babies change so quickly, and these first photos will mean so much later on down the road. I just fell in love with capturing all of the adorable little details from all of beautiful dark hair all the way down to his itty-bitty toes. Babies change so, so quickly.
